Dear Dreamer

For Educators

Two students laughing in front of a whiteboard covered in ideas.

Bring real entrepreneurship into your classroom.

Dear Dreamer gives educators a ready-to-teach entrepreneurship program, built at MIT's Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship and designed specifically for students ages 13 to 18.

A curriculum you can trust. Every lesson is grounded in entrepreneurial thinking and shaped by MIT's approach to teaching founders, adapted for young people.

AI that supports your teaching, not replaces it. Our AI feedback tools give students thoughtful, developmentally appropriate guidance on their ideas as they work, allowing personalization directly in the platform.

Built for where your students are. Our platform provides levels of support to students no matter how much (or how little!) exposure to entrepreneurship education they have.

Made for the real world. With support from the Frank & Eileen Foundation and built with MIT's entrepreneurship expertise, Dear Dreamer brings institutional credibility to skills students will actually use: ideation, iteration, problem solving, opportunity recognition, and more.

Two ways to use Dear Dreamer

Here are our suggestions for how to use Dear Dreamer with your students. Learn more in the educator guide.

Option 1: Self-Guided

Have students work through the entire course on the platform. Dear Dreamer is designed to be self-guided, so students can move through it on their own, at their own pace. This frees up any in-person or live time you have with students to focus on reflection and going deeper on what they're learning.

Option 2: Teacher-Guided

Teach the educational content live, then have students complete the interactive exercises on the platform. The written and video content is there for you to draw on as a resource alongside your own teaching.
